I took over the role of Bailli from my previously held the position of Vice Chargée de Missions for London. I have had the pleasure of being involved with the Châine for many years now, a driving force in hospitality and skills development across its professional member base, as well as being an organisation that meets friends regularly and is always passionate about fine food and wines, and supporting the industry at large.
I was extremely honoured on my promotion as The London Bailliage, one of two in the capital, is the oldest Bailliage in Britain. The Chaine in London counts some of the leading five star hotels and Michelin restaurants in the world as members.
The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society. Founded in Paris in 1950, the society is dedicated to bringing together professional and non-professional members from around the world who appreciate wine cuisine and fine dining. Its long culinary history and tradition can be dated back to as far as 1248 and continues to be promoted today through its extensive local, national and international events. In an age of fast food culture, the Chaîne aims to sustain the appreciation of high quality food and drinks of all types and provide recognition for excellence.
